ABOUT US

The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) Branch 4837 was established in Wahiawa, Hawaii in 1958 and has since expanded to include the town of Mililani. Branch 4837 represents the Letter Carriers of the Wahiawa and Mililani stations and aims to unite all it's members into one harmonious body for their mutual benefit, and to assist the NALC - AFL-CIO, in its efforts to improve the condition of its entire membership.
OUR ISSUES
Collective Bargaining
As a labor union, we advocate for workers' rights to negotiate better wages and conditions. We aim for fair pay and safe work environments for our members.
Worker's Rights
We stand for fair and respectful treatment of all workers, focusing on letter carriers' rights to organize, work safely, and earn fair pay. We're committed to amplifying their voices and protecting their rights.
Health and Safety
Our top concern is our members' health and safety. We strive for secure work environments and protect against job hazards for letter carriers. Additionally, we push for improved healthcare benefits, including mental health services, for postal workers.
Community Outreach
We're committed to community engagement and support local organizations that align with our values. By collaborating, we aim to improve the future for postal workers and their families.
Retirement Security
We prioritize secure retirement for our members, advocating for robust pensions and savings plans for letter carriers. Our goal is to ensure a financially stable and dignified retirement for all members.
